Top Period Products
There are so many products out in the world that can be so helpful in aiding you on your period. There are so many different varieties but I definitely have my favs. In this post I’ll be sharing some of the top products I recommend you try on your period.
One product I love using is adhesive heating pads. If you get really bad cramps like I do, Therma Care will be your life saver. It’s essentially a combination of a sticker and Hot Hands. All you do is put the patch wherever your cramps are and then it will start heating up. This is a great option if you are on the go and don’t have time to sit down with a heating pad to sooth your cramps. You can also find them pretty much anywhere.
2. Another product I believe is a great investment is period swim bottoms. They add extra assurance that you won’t leak while in or out of the water. They look just like regular swim bottoms and it doesn’t look like you have a pad in. I love the ones from Amazon. They have many different options varying from cheeky, full coverage, low waisted, etc.
3. Like the swim bottoms, period underwear is a great investment. These too will give you extra assurance, and act as a backup in case you start leaking. It also gives you an extra boost of confidence to wear lighter pants. Target and Amazon have the best ones.
4. When it comes to tracking your period, the most accurate is Flo. It’s a great app that tracks your cycle and using that information, will predict your next period. It also lets you know what phase you’re in like your luteal phase and even has a place to post questions and see what other women on the app have to say.
5. For my last recommended product, I love organic pads. If you check other brands of pads, they have so many chemicals in them that can be harmful to us. Some of these ingredients include things like carcinogens, acetone, and chloroform. These can cause irritation, reproductive intoxication, and even more seriously cancer. Some clean pad brands that don’t have these ingredients are The Honey Pot, Cora, L., and Rael.
